    We are open with 12 trails serviced by 4 lifts.  All teaching terrain, Gold Rush Hill, Broadway to mid-station, Platinum Way, Prospector Lane, Gold Avenue, and the Face.  New terrain open at 12: 20 pm today:  Tony's Twist, Bear Trap, Snappers, No Name, and Down Town.  There is no easy way down from mid-station.   

Winter Snow Tubing is available every night starting at 4:15 pm.  Snowcoach Dinner Tours, A Cozy Mountain Experience, begins on Sunday, December 21, 2014 with a few dinners spots on the coach still available. 

We welcome you to join us for College Days through December 19, 2014.

Copper Chair to Pony Express (midway) is OPEN.  We will, of course, open more terrain as soon as conditions allow!



Red River Ski & Summer Area is located at the top of the Enchanted Circle in the Southern Rockies of Northern New Mexico.  It's a great recreation area in the middle of town with wonderful activities and events both winter and summer.  Our reservation lines are open to answer your questions and take your reservations for the ski season daily 8 am - 5 pm.    





  Red River Ski and Summer Area operates under a special use permit in the Carson National Forest, USDA Forest Service.

This exciting winter activity gives you a whole new perspective of the mountain. Ride up the mountain from the comfort of our heated Snow Coach to enjoy a delicious sit down dinner at the Tip Restaurant!

Every Saturday Night & On Special Holidays the Red River Ski Area proudly offers Torch Light Parade, Fireworks, and Rail Jam! There is no charge for this event and always happens at dark. The best view of this activity is at the base of The Face, which is located near the Platinum Chair Lift!
