Come to Red River and experience the excitement of Race Camp/Clinic weekend. This is a great clinic to help you advance at skiing and snowboarding or come up and get your "snow" legs back for the 2010/2011 ski and snowboard season.
Whether you are fine tuning or just beginning to learn the skills of ski racing, you'll find a training group that fits your needs. Each day includes free skiing/drills, skiing/racing technique, course tactics (fastest line) and full length race course training. Snowboard Clinics are also available. Don’t forget our sponsors this year: Dynastar Skis, Lange Boots, Seirus Innovations, and the Red River Ski Area. Come to Red River and experience the excitement of Race Camp/Clinic weekend held Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, Dec. 3th – 5th. Camp will, again, be held on our race hill, weather permitting, (snowmaking has the capability to cover the entire course, hopefully Mother Nature provides the temperatures required).
We would like to invite all junior racers to take advantage of the great coaching opportunities. This year we will once again welcome a new generation of ski racers and provide coaching separately for this age group.

Discover a different view of the Enchanted Forest.
This tour includes an 8km ski or 4km snowshoe to some of their best views, followed with homemade cookies, hotchocolate and other hot drinks. Reservations Required 575-754-6112.

Join us for our Holiday Celebration Rail Jam and Torchlight Parade located on the ski slope adjacent to Lift House Bar & Grill.
This is a beautiful light show put on by our ski/snowboard instructors, patrol, locals, and some of our guests who ski/snowboard down the mountain with flares while fireworks light up the sky.
Rail Jam starts at 5:30pm and Torchlight Parade begins at 7pm

Ski the Cross Country Ski Area this Christmas under the warm glow of candlelight.
Luminarias (or farolitos) are placed along a one-way three-kilometer loop. It is a New Mexican Christmas tradition to place luminarias or farolitos (paper bags with sand and a lighted candle inside) around houses and along streets. Quite possible the most beautiful cross country ski experience in North America.
Guests can't believe how easy skiing by candlelight can be. There is plenty of light to see the trails and the skiing is fantastic. And if it begins to snow the effect is just incredible. Ever wondered if Santa was a skier? Well, we asked him, and now he joins us every year on Christmas Day...
After a long night of naughty and nice gift giving, Santa likes to come and relax with the Red River Ski Area and a day on the slopes! You can catch him on the hill at 11:30 with his helpers handing out candy canes and stopping for an occasional photo-op. He'll head down to the Main Chalet around noon to catch anyone he missed on the hill, and spends quite a bit of time in the Youth Ski Club with the kids, after that. Come ski or snowboard with him, he loves the company!

Bring your family and head to the Community House to celebrate the New Year with old fashioned games, noise makers and celebrate early with New York City on the big screen. The fun begins at the Community House at 7:30pm and lasts until 10:00pm.

Celebrate the Eve of a New Year with good food and fun at the Enchanted Forest.
Bring your favorite dish to the Enchanted Forest for a New Years Eve Potluck Party. There will be lighted skiing and sledding at base. Come and celebrate with us from 6:00pm-10:00pm.
